Graham Norris started as a PhD student in October 2018, working on the OpenSuperQ project with a focus on 3D integration. Before, he supported us as a Research Assistant. He previously conducted Semester- and Master-thesis projects within the ETH Zurich Master program (MSc ETH Physics) in our group.

Description

Raphael Keller will be part of the Superconducting Circuits team of the ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub. He will join the Quantum Device Lab in August 2021 after he worked for the Quantum Device Lab from 2016 to 2018. Previously he completed an apprenticeship as a polymechanic a part-time continuing education in mechatronics and systems engineering. Between 2018 and 2021 Raphael has worked for Santex Rimar Group as a design engineer.

Janis

Description

R&D Engineer/Project Manager. Janis Lütolf joined the Quantum Device Lab in December 2010 after having completed an apprenticeship as Physics Laboratory Assistant at Kistler Instrumente AG in Winterthur. In 2015 he received a Bachelor's degree of Science ZFH in mechanical engineering from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Since October 2015 Janis has been leading the Technical Staff of the Quantum Device Lab. He is also supervising ETH apprentices.

Martin

Description

Martin Göppl rejoined our lab in September 2016 to work on the realization of 3D integrated circuit-QED systems after having been a PhD student with us from April 2006 to May 2009. Before that, he had obtained a Diploma degree in Physics from TU Munich, Germany. After finishing his PhD, Martin started to work for the company Sensirion.
