Description

Lukas conducted an external Master's thesis at Caltech in the group of Prof. Oskar Painter that he finished in spring 2014. Before his move to Caltech, Lukas carried out a semester thesis project in our group during  within the ETH Zurich Bachelor's study program (BSc ETH Physics) and continued than to work with us as a Research Assistant. Afterwards Lukas started to work as Electronic Design Engineer at Hexagon & Leica Geosystems in Heerbrugg.

Dominik

Description

Dominik joined our group during the spring term 2014 for a semester thesis project within the ETH Zurich Master's program (MSc ETH Physics). He rejoined our group in October 2014 to conduct a Master's thesis (MSc ETH Physics) and was subsequently working with us as a Research assistant until the end of July 2015. After leaving QuDev he will start to work at Unity Schweiz AG.

Adrian

Description

Adrian first joined our lab as a semester thesis student within the ETH Zurich Master's program (MSc ETH Physics) during the spring term 2014. He then rejoined our group for a Master’s thesis in autumn 2015. After his graduation he worked with us as a research assistant until spring 2017. He then joined Prof. Aeppli's Laboratories for Synchrotron Radiation at the PSI to carry out a PhD-thesis.

Karl

Description

Karl has his bachelor's of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He has worked at the Institute for Quantum Computing in Waterloo, Anyon Systems in Montreal, and he is joining ETH for nine months beginning September 2017. His interests are in engineered quantum systems, microwave engineering, fabrication, and the experimental realization of quantum computing.

Yves

Description

Yves sucessfully completed a PhD thesis at the Quantum Device Lab in December 2017. Prior to starting his PhD thesis, he completed a master's thesis project (MSc ETH CS) in our group in 2011 and worked as a research assistant from Janaury 2012 to March 2012. After leaving the Quantum Device Lab, Yves started to work for Zurich Instruments.
