Sergi Masot Llima joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Fall Semester 2020 for a Master-thesis project entitled "Implementing a Quantum Convolution Neural Network (QCNN)" within the ETH Zurich Master program (MSc ETH Physics).
Laurent Michaud joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Spring Semester 2020 for a Master-thesis project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). His work focuses on 3D integration of superconducting qubits.
Leon Raabe joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Spring Semester 2020 for a master’s thesis project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). His work focused on entanglement and Bell-tests in the context of networking architectures for superconducting quantum information processors.
Lucien Wernli joined the Quantum Device Lab for the Spring Semester 2020 to carry out a master thesis project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Interdisciplinary Sciences). His work focuses on investigating a scheme for photon/photon logic gates using superconducting circuits.
Christoph Rothert joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Fall Semester 2020 for a Master-thesis project entitled "Implementation of Swap Gates for Near-Term Quantum Algorithms" within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). He was previously in our group for a semester project as part of his Master education.
Yongxin Song joined the Quantum Device Lab in February 2020 to participate in an advanced QuanTech Workshop within the ETH Zurich Master program (MSc ETH Quantum Engineering). In additon he was supporting us as a Research Assistant during March and April. Afterwards he had worked in the Quantum Device Lab on a semester thesis. In the Spring Semester 2021 he is continuing his master’s thesis project in our group.
Adrian Copetudo joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Fall Semester 2020 for his master thesis about a Loophole-free Bell Test within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics).
He was previously in our group to carry out a Semester Thesis about Photonic States and Phase Metrology. He obtained his BSc in Physics from the University of Barcelona.
Arne Wulff joined the Quantum Device Lab for the Fall Semester 2019 to carry out a semester project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). In the Spring Semester 2020 he's continuing his master thesis project in our group.
Richard Boell joined the Quantum Device Lab during the Fall Semester 2020 for a Master-thesis project entitled "A Net-Zero Continuous Gate Set for Variational Quantum Algorithms" within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). He was previously in our group for a semester project as part of his Master education (MSc ETH Physics).
Jonas Krause joined the Quantum Device Lab for the Fall Semester to carry out a semester project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Physics). He finished an external Master student at the University of Cologne in February 2020. He's now doing a PhD on magnetic field resilient transmons at the same lab in Cologne.
