François Swiadek joined the Quantum Device Lab in August 2019 for a PhD thesis. His research focuses on superconducting quantum computing. Previously, François worked on cavity optomechanics at Thales, on nanophotonic cavity QED with Lukin's group at Harvard and on a trapped-atom clock at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel at ENS Paris. He obtained a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from ESPCI Paris, and completed a Master of Science at ENS Paris.

Dante Colao joined the Quantum Device Lab in September 2019 for a PhD thesis, after receiving his MSc from CentraleSupélec and BSc from UFRGS. His research focuses on scaling up quantum processors as part of the OpenSuperQ project.

Nathan Lacroix started as a PhD student in September 2020, with a focus on near term quantum algorithms and quantum software development. He previously conducted his master thesis in our group on the topic of variational quantum algorithms using a continuous gate set.

Nora Kerenyi joined the Quantum Device Lab from March to August 2019. She has been working in the administration for more than 13 years now, of which 7 at the ETH Zurich. After leaving the Quantum Device Lab she continued to work in the group of Prof. Yiwen Chu and Prof. Daniela Rupp

Lab responsible and technician with focus on mechanics and cryogenics. Alain Fauquex joined the Quantum Device Lab in April of 2019 after previously working at SKH Schonert AG as a design engineer. There he has gathered experience in the design of chemical instruments, complex transmissions and robotics. Before that he has worked for Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. - also as a design engineer - where he was part of the fuselage and rear fuselage team of the Pilatus PC-24. Besides his employment at QuDev, he is currently attending the "Aargauische Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene (AME)."

Till Zellweger joined the Quantum Device Lab for the spring semester 2019 to carry out a semester project within the ETH Zurich Master programme (MSc ETH Information Technology and Electrical Engineering).
