Description

Jean-Claude Besse is part of the Superconducting Circuits team of the ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub. He joined our group in February 2016 to conduct a PhD thesis, with a focus on quantum optics interactions in superconducting circuits. After successfully defending his thesis in January 2021, Jean-Claude remained with the Quantum Device Lab as a PostDoc. Previously, Jean-Claude worked on cavity optomechanics in the Painter lab at Caltech and on nanomechanical structures for quantum dots coupling with Imamoglu's group at ETH.
